Filming in Kendal.
A few assignments last week, now the editing.
As I was already assigned to a project one of our drone ops filmed this as dawn rose over Kendal with Mavic Mini to comply with the legal side of things flying over congested areas.
There were over 5 edits made for the client.
The material was shot ungraded by the Mini and was re graded using Filmconvert nitrate our preferred grading app. Not cheap but does the job and I like the way the colour wheels and line graph and straight forward to use.
LUTS are very easily imported.
As the Mini is not listed on the app yet I used the old Mavic Pro settings within the app.
I am still not keen on the Mini’s quality and if possible, will use the Mavic 2 Pro or Inspire series (1Pro or 2) drone instead for quality filming. You can see that the output from the Mini is grainy.
