Busy preparing presentations to Carlisle Lake District Airport & Bradford City Council

Will be preparing presentations for Carlisle Lake District Airport local runway safety team and the Air Users Skills Academy (partnership between Carlisle Lake District Airport and Cumbria University) towards the end of January.

Also, been asked to present to City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council on drone usage with their projects team.

Greta news as two different business environments start to look at the real potential of utilising or formalising a course to train new pilots for the use of drones.

Carlisle Lake District Airport is the gateway to the Lake District National Park, the Pennines, South West Scotland and Border regions, located just six miles east of Carlisle City and the M6 (J43 or J44).

The airport is launching commercial and business passenger flights in spring 2019 for the first time since 1993, connecting Cumbria and the Lake District, which receives 41.5 million visitors per year, with major tourism and business hubs.

The airport already caters for all kinds of private aircraft – from gyroplanes and micro-lights through to helicopters and larger business jets – as well as many military aircraft movements. We offer all the usual services required for such operations.
