Ashmeadow House – Arnside – Cumbria.
Recently a commission was requested to film and edit in July the property which is being turned into luxury apartments.
The property is located at the end of The Promenade. It has fantastic views across the bay of the coastal village of Arnside.
It was originally built back in 1818 for William Berry, a wealthy businessman who had shipping interests in the Kent Estuary.
Later it was bought by John Barnes and turned into a boarding school for boys.
When the school closed, Mr Barnes created a charitable trust.
Ashmeadow House and its grounds were put at the disposal of the trustees for the benefit of Arnside.
Prior to it being sold this year, Crossfield Housing (Arnside) Society bought the Grade II-listed property in 2003.

The property had already been filmed by Skylark Aerial Photography during the early part of 2019 for Davis & Bowring.
The new owner contacted us again to make another film during the summer this year to remarket the property.
This has to be one of our favourite locations to film. The property lends itself to be filmed with drone.
