Apocalypse Cow - Channel 4

Last summer Skylark Aerial Photography provided the aerial filming for Apocalypse Cow –  Channel 4.

Good to see Skylark Aerial Photography in the credits of a Channel 4 TV documentary production this week. The aerial filming was shot last summer, one of six TV shows we filmed for last year. Most of our TV work is for Channel 4, Channel 5 and France 2 production companies. Quite a lot is work for the same producers or referrals.

The filming was in the Langdales of the Lake District during July 2019.

The request was to film the presenter, landscape, sheep and tree line.

Shown on Channel 4 a provocative documentary, environmental campaigner George Monbiot argues that the biggest problem driving us towards global disaster is how we feed ourselves, particularly on meat.

Farm Groups

Farm groups have slammed CHANNEL 4 documentary Apocalypse Cow: How Meat Killed the Planet, after presenter and prominent farming critic George Monbiot claimed livestock farming was destroying the planet.

A film makers note from Skylark

We at Skylark do not have an opinion either way for or against meat production. Having also provided aerial filming for the beauty of the landscape and the farming communities including sheep production. At the end of the day we are commissioned to aerial film.
