Above The Clouds Over Windermere. A recent shoot for Windermere Lake Cruises (WLC) for their Yellow Route, enabled us to capture some some stunning video and aerial stills.

The footage shown here moving north up Windermere as the early morning cloud burnt away.

At Lakeside on the Southern end of Windermere, WLC operate the Yellow Route to Bowness Piers using the traditional boats, Swan, Tern and the Teal.

The September weather was on form, blue skies all day and still conditions, could not be better.

Focus was on the comings and goings as the cruises left and departed to Bowness Pier. Footage was also taken of The Lakeside & Hatherwaite Railway as the steam train arrived and left. The trains are timetabled to meet the boats as they arrive and depart.

This will be the 3rd route we have filmed for WLC, so far this year. The Summer Evening Cruise and the Red Route.

It was hoped that all the routes could be filmed this year but the weather has not been good as expected to schedule in.

Above The Clouds Over Windermere enabled not only aerial footage but classic aerial stills as well.
