Young Beatrix Potter
Edits from a film being made by Students from the BBC Natural History Unit in Bristol, UK.
Beatrix is wearing white in these shots is because they are used to reflect her initial visits to the Lakes as a younger woman during family holidays, when she first fell in love with the landscapes. In the film, her future transition into an older and wiser countrywoman will be then depicted through the change to her wearing tweed and practical clothes instead, in other scenes which will be filmed at additional Lakes locations eg. Hill Top. The change in clothing style is to reflect different periods of her life. I hope that makes sense!
Feedback from the Crew.
The footage is absolutely brilliant, really pleased you like it too!
“It was wonderful working with you too, I can’t thank you enough! I know I speak for my whole crew when I say that we have all absolutely loved the last two days and everyone was sad to part ways with you earlier. When considering drone operators in future we have all agreed that we’d very much like to work with you again !”
